Bowl Season 2007-2008

After two big disappointments, botching the outcomes of the last two bowl games, I will take a look at the Orange Bowl and continue my look at the Bowl Season.

Thursday January 3rd, 2007 FedEx Orange Bowl

No. 3 Virginia Tech v. No. 8 Kansas
Tonight’s 8 o’clock match-up between the Hokies and the Jayhawks should be one of the best games this College Football season has seen. The Jayhawks are the Big 12’s leading offense, scoring 44.3 points per game, and the Hokies are the ACC champions and have one of the leading scoring defenses. The game tonight should come down to the fourth quarter and the winning team will have over 40 points. There should be few penalties and mistakes throughout the game. Special Teams, especially that of VT, should be a huge factor in the match-up.

For anyone who thinks the VT players cant handle the toughness of KU(Fox Sports), you should stop and think of the losses they incurred this year, and that includes 32 friends and family members.
